BUS322/Lecture/1M - Legal Environment of Business | Credits 3.00
The philosophy and evolution of law is examined. The first part of the course focuses on the elgal rights and responsibilities of individuals under and before the law: torts, property, contracts, and agency. The second part of the course focuses on the legal rights and responsibilities of the busienssman and the firm: negotiable instruments, partnership and corporation law, equity, and related subjects.

A supplemental learning management system (LMS) provided by Canvas is used for this course and requires internet access. Student Canvas courses are not automatically generated upon a student's registration into a course via the Self Serve registration process. Registered students are given access to the Canvas LMS class one week prior to the class beginning.
